How the number is checked

YouTube, Twitch and TikTok counts are read automatically from the public profile and timestamped every hour, so the reading that releases a reward has a time and date attached. Anything checked by hand is labelled as a manual check wherever the progress shows.

You never have to argue about the number — the timestamped reading decides, and the reward releases the moment it crosses the line.

How is a milestone verified?+

YouTube, Twitch and TikTok are verified at launch — Covalt reads the public number on a timed schedule and timestamps every reading (TikTok needs the creator to link their account first). Instagram and X are coming soon and can't take a funded challenge yet. Every progress number on the site says whether it came from an automated or a manual check.

What if the target isn't hit?+

Nothing moves. Your locked amount stays yours the whole time and is returned to you in full the moment the deadline passes.
